  • Apiam Animal Health (AHX) receives a $700,000 grant to build a new viral vaccine laboratory in Bendigo from the Victorian State Government’s Regional Jobs Fund
  • The funding will enable the company to fast track development of the facility
  • AHX said producing viral vaccines locally will fill a critical gap in Australia’s animal health market, with a strong potential for future exports
  • It will enable the company to fast track development of the lab and fill a need within the domestic agricultural industry to battle a range of endemic and emerging viruses
  • This includes Japanese Encephalitis, which is currently affecting the domestic pig segment
  • Shares close flat today at 85 cents each
