metaMe Health Raises $2.2M in Funding

  • metaMe Health, Inc., a Chicago, IL-based Prescription Digital Therapeutics (PDT) company, raised $2.2M in a bridge funding round
  • The round was led by Hyde Park Angels (HPA), with participation from some individuals
  • With the funding, Ken Greisman, the deal lead from HPA and a veteran of the pharmaceutical industry, joined the company’s board of directors
  • The company intends to use the funds to continue preparation for Regulora’s market launch and to build out its commercial infrastructure
  • metaMeHealth is advancing Regulora, a FDA-authorized Prescription Digital Therapeutics (PDT specifically for abdominal pain associated with Irritable Bowel Syndrome (IBS) in adults
  • It provides relief to these patients through Gut-Directed Hypnotherapy (GDH) through a smartphone app
