  • Masabi, a London, UK-based ticketing company bringing innovations to public transport around the world via ‘Fare Payments-as-a-Service’, raised a strategic growth funding round
  • The round was led by Accel-KKR with participation from existing investors Shell and Smedvig Capital
  • The company intends to use the funds to accelerate product development and add new deployments of Justride in North and South America, Europe and Asia-Pacific
  • Led by Brian Zanghi, CEO, the company provides Justride, a SaaS fare payments platform for public transport
  • The cloud-based, multi-format platform facilitates the use of a variety of fare media including mobile tickets, contactless credit cards, smartcard, paper barcode and more
  • Once deployed, other transportation can be added; building a MaaS (Mobility-as-a-Service) offering with the public transit agency at its core
