EMVision Medical Devices Continues to progress brain scanner

  • Medical imaging company EMVision Medical Devices (EMV) has continued to progress development and commercialisation of its portable brain scanner for stroke patients
  • EMVision has finished the period with a strong cash balance of over $10.5 million to help progress this first of its kind product
  • Income for the first half increased 106 per cent to $3.4 million and loss for the period was down 37 per cent to just over $2 million
  • EMVision said it is now entering an “exciting period” with the upcoming multi-site studies which is planning to commence next quarter
  • On the market, EMVision is in the grey and trading at $2 per share
