Spacetalk Raises $8m for expansion strategy

  • Spacetalk (SPA) gets firm commitments to raise $8 million through a placement to support expansion plans in North America and Europe
  • The placement is made up of two tranches with the first to raise $5.6 million and the second tranche will aim to raise the other $2.4 million
  • Around 42.1 million shares will be issued at 19 cents each which represents a 15.6 per cent discount to the last closing price on October 28
  • In addition, the company will launch a share purchase plan to raise another $2.5 million
  • SPA shares are trading steady at 22.5 cents
