  • LawVu, a Tauranga, New Zealand-based legal tech startup for in-house legal teams, raised $17m NZD in Series A funding
  • The round was led by Insight Partners with participation from AirTree Ventures
  • In conjunction with the funding, Rachel Geller, Managing Director at Insight Partners, will join company’s board
  • The company intends to use the funds to hire key leadership roles in the US to drive global go-to-market, open US offices
  • The company provides Legal Workspace, a connected software platform for in-house legal teams to be more collaborative and deliver high value outcomes
  • The company develops and distributes its SaaS platform to enterprise customers around the world including Nissan, Fonterra, Rocket Apples, and ZURU
