  • Westpac is Australia’s oldest bank and company, one of four major banking organisations in Australia, and one of the largest banks in New Zealand
  • Creating more than 300 new roles in Adelaide and is encouraging South Australians to apply
  • The roles consolidate as one of the largest employers in the state with a workforce of more than 5,000 people locally
  • Many of the roles support Group’s national operations across all brands, including BankSA
  • Teams in South Australia work across some of the most critical operations, including lending, customer care and hardship assistance functions
  • Announced in July last year that it would bring jobs back to Australia from overseas to improve operational resilience
