  • Aunt Bertha, an Austin TX-based operator of closed-loop social care networks, raised $27M in funding
  • The funding round was led by Warburg Pincus, with participation from existing investors
  • In conjunction with the funding, tech executive and Kiva.org CEO Chris Tsakalakis will join companies board of directors
  • The company intends to use the funds to enhance its free and paid products and continue to expand its new marketplace
  • Its Marketplace product allows customers to order social goods and services so social workers with implementations
  • It also currently supports eligibility screening, outcome tracking, payments and invoicing for social good and service ordering
