CSC & PayPal: Partner to fight against COVID pandemic in rural India

  • PayPal believes that now is the time to democratize financial services so that moving and managing money is a right for all citizens
  • The Ministry of Electronics & Information Technology has partnered with offer immediate COVID-relief facilities
  • Company will support the CSC Academy in setting up PSA oxygen plants in five hospitals in four states
  • Mobile vans will create awareness and provide services like antigen testing, registration for vaccination
  • The Village Level Entrepreneurs (VLEs) will manage these vans and help those without a smartphone to register for vaccination
  • The vans will also be equipped with oxygen cylinders to be used in emergency and give citizens access to telemedicine consultation
