- Barra Resources (BAR) has appointed Christopher Hansen as the new CEO and Managing Director
- Hansen is a multi-disciplinary metals and mining professional who has worked with well-regarded companies including Fortescue Metals (FMG) and Barrick Gold
- After leaving Barrick Gold in 2014, Christopher spent the next four years in London at a mining private equity fund where he developed investment skills, project development expertise
- Since returning to Australia, Hansen wasa Non-Executive Director for fellow ASX-listed companies, Raiden Resources (RDN) and Auroch Minerals (AOU)
- Chairman Gary Berrell also says having Christopher on board will help to increase the value of its Burbanks Project in Western Australia
- Company shares are up 4.17 per cent and trading at 2.5 cents
