TravelPerk: Raises $160M in Series D Funding

  • TravelPerk, a Barcelona, Spain-based travel management platform, raised $160m in Series D equity and debt funding
  • The round, which brought the total funding raised to date to $294m, was led by Greyhound Capital, with participation from existing investors
  • The company also intends to use the funds to accelerate global growth, with a particular focus on the US and Europe and to grow its 500-person team
  • Led by Avi Meir, CEO and co-founder, TravelPerk provides a travel platform for booking, managing and reporting business trips, using its proprietary technology and 24/7 traveler support
  • The platform hosts the a large bookable travel inventory, allowing travelers to compare, book and invoice trains, cars, flights, hotels and apartments from a range of providers
  • In the last year, the company released a range of new solutions including TravelSafe, a product for the wider travel industry
