SUB2r: Raises $3.5M in Series A Funding

  • SUB2r, a US-based maker of cameras for gamers, content creators, raised $3.5m in Series A funding
  • Backers also included Riva Technology and Entertainment Limited
  • RTE will have a significant minority stake in SUB2r, and Paul Roy, CEO of RTE, will join SUB2r’s board of directors
  • The company also intends to use the funds to launch its next generation live streaming video camera based on advanced 48MP native 8K camera chip
  • SUB2r makes cameras which are in use around the world with top gamers, content creators, indie film makers, studios and in industrial and scientific applications
  • The system combines advanced digital imaging technologies and optics with data streaming engines to deliver professional broadcast quality streaming camera
