FuroSystems: Raises £750K in Seed Funding

  • FuroSystems, a London, UK-based e-bike startup, raised £750k in seed funding
  • Backers included TSP Ventures, ClearlySo and a number of angel investors
  • The company will also use the funding to accelerate its growth and to invest in R&D to create the next generation of products
  • Founded in 2017 by engineers Eliott Wertheimer and Albert Nassar, who respectively have backgrounds in both aerospace and robotics
  • Its flagship product is the Furo X folding e-bike which weighs a mere 15kg, has a high-density removable lithium ion battery that has has a range of 55km
  • The scooter features double front and rear suspensions and dual mechanical disc brakes, alongside a host of safety features
