Galena Mining: Intersects high-grade silver and lead from Abra

  • Galena Mining (G1A) has intersected up to 34g/t silver and 17.2 per cent lead from the Abra Base Metals Project in WA
  • Abra lies in the Gascoyne region of Western Australia and is a globally significant lead-silver project
  • So far, only 25 diamond core holes, for 10,646 metres, have been completed and results have been received for the first five holes
  • Hole AB148 also intersected up to 8.5 per cent lead and 17g/t silver, however, holes AB144 and AB145 recorded no significant intersections
  • Results for the remaining 20 holes are pending and will be received in due course
  • Galena is up 6.12 per cent on the market with shares trading for 26 cents each at 2:35 pm AEDT
