Fluence Corporation: Secures $3.2M for Egyptian project upgrade

  • Fluence Corporation (FLC) has secured US$3.2 million (around A$4.5 million) for a project upgrade in Egypt
  • The funds won through its joint venture with a semi-government utility company
  • Now, Fluence will rehabilitate and upgrade a seawater reverse osmosis desalination (SWRO) plant
  • The plant is located in Sharm El Sheikh, Egypt and will use Fluence’s technology to replace the ageing infrastructure of the current seawater reverse osmosis plant
  • The upgraded system will provide potable water to several large resorts located in popular tourist city Sharm El Sheikh
  • Fluence is up 7.32 per cent on the market today, trading for 22 cents per share
