Comet Resources: Raises $500,000 in SPP

  • Comet Resources (CRL) is aiming to raise $500,000 through a share purchase plan (SPP)
  • On Monday, the company announced a $2 million placement — combined with the SPP, this brings the total funds Comet hopes to raise to $2.5 million
  • The junior explorer says shareholders can purchase up to $30,000 in shares for two cents each
  • The SPP will open today and close on October 1, with shares slated for allocation on October 2
  • Last week, Comet unveiled exploration plans for the Santa Teresa Gold Project, just one week after purchasing a 50 per cent stake in the asset
  • On the market this morning, Comet is up 4.76 per cent and is trading for 2.2 cents per share at 10:41 am AEST
